The Veterans Village Bar supports The Rawthey Program, an 18 month, psychologically informed intervention.
Each candidate undergoes a 3-month screening process including an in depth psychological assessment led by our Clinical Psychologist.
The aim of screening is to deliver a bespoke, fully funded recovery plan with the goals of independent living and sustainable employment.
All veterans attend a 7 day, residential, individual development course to equip them with the motivation, self-esteem & coping mechanisms to re-discover their potential.
6 weeks later, all veterans attend a 5 day course in civilian life skills where they work with industry experts and guest speakers to support them in preparation for success in civvy street.
The final module is employment. This includes internal work placements with our partner businesses, external work experience with potential employers, a job test drive and reintroduction to adult education and training.
