Stopover on The Dales Way We spent 2 nights in room 2 whilst walking The Dale's Way. The room was lovely and the bed was one of the best I've ever slept in. We ate in the restaurant both nights and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I'd have no hesitation in going back.

On arrival we were shown to our room by a young lady and advised of breakfast times for the next morning. The room was lovely with a huge bed with two sash windows to the front of the building with an amazing bathroom with a waterfall shower. We are in the main restaurant and the food was amazing. read less

Excellent one night stay while walking The Dales Way Stayed for one night here last week while walking The Dales Way. Pub had everything I needed: comfortable bed, excellent local ale, fine food (best of the trip) and a superb wine list, which I couldn't dive into given 16 miles to walk next day. Plus I left my phone charger in my room, but a quick message on Friday when back home saw it arrive the next day, great service for my careless act. Recommend this pub for walkers etc. read less

Walking the Dales Way We stayed here on day 4 of walking the Dales Way.
We stayed in room number 1 which did not disappoint! It was very nice indeed.
A cute couples room with a glass wall between the bedroom and bathroom. It felt cosy with the tweed on the walls with a super king sized bed.

We ate dinner in the restaurant in the evening which was delicious! Pricey but worth it.
Breakfast was not included in the cost for us so we decided not to pay the extra.
Overall, we would return again. read less
