Rooms at our coaching inn
The Dalesman has six double rooms and a single in the hotel as well as a separate cottage. Three of the doubles are able to be converted to twins and our cottage has two separate bedrooms.
Our rooms are priced individually as no two rooms are the same. With our larger rooms, we have paid great attention to detail and incorporated such things as Hungarian goose down, Zoffany wallpaper, and tweed fabric fitted walling. The smaller rooms are ideal for those staying over whilst passing through on one of many popular walks such as the Dales Way.
This recently converted top floor guest suite offers a large and inviting space to relax and unwind in comfort. Designed to emphasise the stunning original features, we chose a natural colour palette which reflects the surrounding landscape and the iconic fell after which the suite was named.
Luxurious fabrics and soft furnishings come as standard with Mulberry blinds, Andrew Martin wallpaper and a Herdwick lambswool carpet. A range of modern touches have been subtly incorporated, including automated blinds, a smart television and smart mirror. This suite also features a large roll-top bath, as well as an ensuite bathroom with marble-topped double vanity unit and shower.
Rawthey is one of our stylish, recently converted top floor suites. A calm and relaxing space named after the meandering local river, this suite features a stunning ensuite bathroom complete with free-standing bath, walk-in shower, marble-topped vanity unity and smart mirror. Top quality furnishings including a Sealy bed are complimented by designer fabrics and a Herdwick lambswool carpet. This guest suite also features a range of modern touches including a Samsung ‘The Frame’ smart television and automated blinds.
This spacious and luxurious guestroom with country chic styling features a range of local tweed fabrics, solid oak flooring and designer lighting. A good night’s sleep is guaranteed in the 7ft ‘Large Emperor’ bed with Hungarian goose and feather down bedding. A half glass wall separates the bedroom from the large bathroom, complete with siltstone porcelain and top-quality fittings.
A recently renovated and beautifully appointed guestroom, featuring a spacious ensuite with free-standing bath, shower and smart mirror. Plush Mulberry fabrics and Andrew Martin wallpaper are complimented by modern touches including a smart ‘Samsung The Frame’ television and automated blinds.
This is our largest guestroom, which features beautiful original beams and traditional country-style furnishings. Accommodating up to four people, there is a King size bed as well as a separate double sofa bed with spring mattress. The ensuite bathroom comes with quality Villeroy and Bosch bath and shower fittings. Any extra persons staying will be charged at £25 per person, per night.
Our characterful cottage comes with plenty of original features and is only a short stroll from the coaching inn, making it ideal for those requiring more space and flexibility with the option to book as self-catering or half board. There is a shaker style dining kitchen and cosy sitting room downstairs, with one double bedroom, one single bedroom and a bathroom with bath and shower upstairs.
Both sofas in the sitting room can be used as sofa beds, however any extra persons staying will be charged at £35 per person, per night. There is a car park adjacent to the cottage and parking permits are available when booking.
